Iain.

Most of you would know him and would know he is one of the most laid back, caring human beings i've eve met.
He was tied to my sister for over 3 years(until recently) whom he adored so much that he put a roof over our heads when we had no place to go, bought us many things, helped us out in tough situations whether it was family or personal issues.
He taught me how to drive and even got my hours up a fair bit. He did a lot for me when he had the choice not to and we formed a pretty good friendship where we would play tanks on the wii for hours until we finished all levels.
It upsets me knowing he wont be around anymore to hang out, and protect us when we're scared
and also how close he was to being my brother in-law where he would talk about marrying Amie and how looking for rings is whats on his list right now.
Iain will always be the best boyfriend Amie ever had.
So this post goes out to Iain Reitman, Waif, Andy Lee.. your pretty amazing buddy, even though you and Amie arn't together anymore your always welcome to come over to play tanks i hope to see you soon =]

scanned some negs i took over the holidays of my best friends house and some of my puppies up in nsw.
theyre not as sharp as they should be, i really should of focused more. lesson learnt.

On the first weekend of holidays i went up my best friends second home up in strath creek, a little quiet town set out in the country past Yea.
i took everything i could think of: analogue, digital,tripods,rolls and rolls of film, battery backup, makeup ect
i took some film shots of jessi  which i printed out in the darkroom and was VERY impressed on how they turned out and i will definitely upload them on here.
My digital shots looked amazing as well i went with natural light and under exposed the photos to make it look dark and mystical and that's what they turned out like and its that type of genre jessi is really into which suited her so much =]

sound and image

we have an assignment for Digi and folio to make our own mini movie only involving images and a song lasting 2 mins that connect with each other to kind of tell a story.
i knew right away what i wanted to do, i wanted to use a paolo nutini song called pencil full of lead or a paloma faith song called upside down. but that failed.
so i thought long and hard what i wanted and i came up with a very personal subject of mine to include in the movie, i decided to choose the break up of my family and have chosen a song from the soundtrack of edward scissorhands.
i ran this idea by my sister and my housemate to see what they would though i played the music in the car while explaining the photos that would appear up on the screen and when the song finished my sister and housemate had tears in their eyes and begging me to go along with this idea. so i am. but im afraid of what my Dad will think if he ever sees this movie, which is why i might not invite him to the lil exhibition  where it opens up.
i have already started photoshopping some photos and getting them ready  to put up.
ill post the soundtrack so you can have a little idea on what its all about. =]
